Crucial Notice: Nature of AI-Generated Content & Food Safety
The recipes generated on Oisif are created algorithmically by an artificial intelligence model. They are creative suggestions provided purely for exploratory culinary inspiration. You are solely and strictly responsible for verifying food safety, allergens, cooking temperatures, and expiration dates before any handling or consumption.
1. Purpose & Acceptance
These Terms of Service define the terms and conditions under which users access and utilize the Oisif web application. Browsing, generating recipes, or registering an account on Oisif constitutes unconditional acceptance of the present terms.
If you do not agree with any of these terms, please discontinue using Oisif immediately. Oisif reserves the right to amend these terms at any time; changes take effect upon publication online.
2. Service Description
Oisif is a minimalist culinary web application designed to counter food waste and streamline daily cooking. It offers:
- The AI Recipe Generator: An interactive engine producing personalized recipe suggestions based on on-hand ingredients, mood, meal types, and dietary preferences.
- Personal Recipe Library: An authenticated account space to store, organize, and export favorite creations.
- The Culinary Journal: In-depth minimalist articles detailing essential kitchen techniques, ratios, and science.
3. Food Safety Disclaimer & User Obligations
Given the automated, probabilistic, and algorithmic nature of artificial intelligence, the user acknowledges and accepts the following obligations and limitations:
Recipes, ingredient pairings, proportions, and techniques generated by Oisif are hypotheses provided solely for creative and recreational purposes. They do not constitute certified nutritional, medical, or sanitary advice.
Even when dietary options are selected, the algorithm may inadvertently mention derived ingredients, cross-contaminants, or allergens. The user is strictly required to read product packaging, labels, and ingredient lists before preparation.
Oisif operates on text prompts and cannot assess the physical condition, odor, storage conditions, or expiration dates of ingredients present in the user's kitchen. Any spoiled, unpasteurized, oxidized, or dubious food must be discarded immediately.
Certain raw or undercooked foods carry microbiological risks. The user is solely responsible for ensuring proper core cooking temperatures and appropriate preparation techniques.
In no event shall Oisif, its creator Mathis Hennebique, or affiliated technical providers be held liable for any injury, allergic reaction, foodborne illness, kitchen incident, or property damage arising from the execution or consumption of a generated recipe.
4. User Accounts & Security
Access to recipe generation is open freely to visitors within reasonable daily usage limits. Creating an account unlocks favorites saving and multi-device synchronization.
Users must provide a valid email and maintain confidential credentials. Any activity conducted under a user's account is deemed their sole responsibility. In case of suspected unauthorized access, contact contact@oisif.fr immediately.
5. Acceptable Use & Moderation
Users expressly agree not to misuse the prompt engine to request dangerous, poisonous, illicit, harmful, or abusive recipes. Filters and automated rate-limiting are deployed to safeguard platform integrity.
Oisif reserves the right to suspend or delete without prior notice any account violating these rules or engaging in automated scraping/attacks.
6. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service are governed and construed under French law. In the event of any dispute regarding the interpretation, execution, or termination of these terms, the parties will seek an amicable solution before taking any legal action.
In the absence of an amicable agreement, French courts within the jurisdiction of the Court of Appeal of Paris shall have sole jurisdiction, subject to mandatory rules applicable to consumer disputes.
